Experience Sporting Rec. League Indoors
During our Winter Sessions, your child will have the opportunity to play in a 6-game season, learning the game of soccer and making memories with their teammates. They will have a fun, safe and quality soccer experience.
Winter Sessions are available for Boys & Girls, Pre-K through 3rd Grade. All games are held indoors at Homefield – Olathe in Olathe, KS.
Please note –
all games will be played on fields WITHOUT boards.

Saturday evening matches will consist of mostly 2nd & 3rd grade teams

Uniforms
All new Sporting Rec League players will order uniforms directly from Soccer.com with delivery to your home. This link will be distributed directly to players families after registration.
Players who already ordered Sporting Rec League uniforms for the Fall 2025 season do not need to purchase new uniforms.
Benefits of online ordering:
- Option to purchase extra uniform items
- Order uniforms as needed - current jerseys will be used through Spring 2027
- Uniforms can be reused by younger siblings
Forming a Team
All players are assigned to a team for the season. During registration, you can either register an individual player or an entire team.
Players will be assigned to a team in their grade based on a combination of factors, including the school they attend and any special requests submitted during registration.
Registering a Team With Different Age Groups
If you're registering a team with players from different age groups, you should register in the age group of the oldest player.
I.e., a team with Pre-K and Kindergarten players should register in the Kindergarten division.
Refund Policy
Participants may request a refund before the season begins. Refunds requested after the beginning of the season may be denied.
Refunds or adjustment of league fees will be determined on a case-by-case basis by the Sporting Rec. League administration.
Administrative fees may apply.
Team Coaches
All teams are coached by parent volunteers. No previous experience is necessary and Sporting KC Youth Soccer will provide the necessary support and equipment.
All coaches will be required to pass a background check and be SafeSport certified.
Coach Discount
The head coach of each team will receive a 10% discount for their player's registration.
Head coaches are reimbursed at the end of the season after fulfilling their coaching commitment.
Only head coaches receive a registration discount.
Practices
Teams can practice during the week if they choose to. However, we will not organize or pay for practice fields.
