League Overview
Launching in Fall 2026, Sporting Select League is designed as the new development bridge between Sporting Rec League and our competitive club Sporting City. This league, offered to Boys & Girls in 2nd to 5th grade, provides the opportunity for a higher level than recreational play - creating a structured environment that builds the skills, understanding and commitment needed to transition into competitive soccer.
League Benefits
- 10 Training Sessions per season held at Central Bank Sporting Complex
- 8 League Games per season, providing consistent game experience
- Volunteer coaches supported by professional development, including coaching workshops led by Sporting City licensed coaches
- Curriculums designed by Sporting KC for player development and growth
- Coaches provided with essential resources to support effective training and team development, including cones, bibs, a Sporting KC training top and a structured curriculum.
- Standings and results published weekly with league winners receiving awards at the end of each season.
