Sunday games will be played between 8AM and 1PM. Friday games will be played between 5:30PM and 9:30PM.
Select 3rd through 5th Grade teams may have games on Saturday mornings between 8AM and 12PM.

Coach Discount
The head coach of each team will receive a 30% discount for their player's registration.
Head coaches are reimbursed at the end of the season after fulfilling their coaching commitment.
Only head coaches receive a registration discount.
Refund Policy
Participants may request a refund before the season begins. Refunds requested after the beginning of the season may be denied.
Refunds or adjustment of league fees will be determined on a case-by-case basis by the Sporting Rec. League administration.
Administrative fees may apply.
Forming a Team
All registered players are assigned to a team for the season. During registration, you can either register an individual player or an entire team.
Player registering with a team will need to indicate their coach's name during registration. A player is only allowed to be rostered on one team per season.
Players that don't register with a team will be assigned to a team in their grade based on a combination of factors, including the school they attend, where they live and any special requests submitted during registration.
Registering a Team With Multiple Grades
If you're registering a team with players from different grades, you must register in the grade of the oldest player.
I.e., a team with Pre-K and Kindergarten players should register in the Kindergarten division.
Team Coaches
All teams are coached by parent volunteers. No previous experience is necessary and Sporting KC Youth Soccer will provide each coach with practice sessions, administrative support and guidance on coaching young players.
All coaches will be required to pass a background check and be SafeSport certified.
Jerseys
SRL Uniform Ordering Update
All Sporting Rec League players will now order their uniforms directly from Soccer.com with delivery to your home. This link will be distributed directly to players families after registration is completed.
Benefits of online ordering:
- Choose exact sizes for your child
- Option to purchase extra uniform items
- Order uniforms as needed – current jerseys will be used through Spring 2027 (4 seasons)
- Uniforms can be reused by younger siblings
- Lower SRL registration fees
Required Uniform Kit:
- 2 jerseys (Navy & Grey)
Age Group Information
Practice Information
Pre-K
Pre-K teams do not practice during the week. Instead, they practice for 20 minutes before their scheduled game. For example, if your child has a 9am scheduled kick off: 9-9:20am – practice, 9:20-9:50am game.
Kindergarten through 5th Grade
Kindergarten & 2nd grade teams practice once (1) a week between Monday and Thursday for 45 minutes to one (1) hour. Practices take place between 5-8PM at either of the following locations, listed below. There is no practice before their scheduled game.
The first practices of the season will begin the week of 8/24. The final practices of the season will be held the week of 10/19.
Scheduling Practices
The head coach of each Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd, 4th, & 5th Grade team will choose the practice location, day of the week and time. Teams may have the option to practice at Central Bank Sporting Complex, but will come down to field availability. Teams may practice at an alternative location (park, school, etc.) if they choose to do so!
